What is a 'listen' you ask? The tradition of the channel 'listen' began with Rajun` a long time ago. Rajun` was the first to suggest we all listen to a Pink Floyd album together. How a 'listen' works: Everyone starts up the selected album at the exact same moment..with a lot of luck :) and in this way even though we are scattered all over the world we are 'listening' to the same music at the same time. We can discuss the music as it's being played and it's a lot of fun to be able to share the Pink Floyd experience together.

There are two types of 'listens' that happen in Channel #PinkFloyd&Co. We can sometimes have a nightly informal one, where we just might shout "get out your Pink Floyd we're going to do a 'listen'" Then there are the more formal Channel 'listens' which we try to do as a group function, on the anniversary of each album's debut.
