Welcome to #PinkFloyd&Co.

A place where you can talk Floyd or just general chatter. It is up to you. Just know we are a channel that attempts to have some standards of conduct. We do understand that many people can access IRC - including children. So we try to keep our channel a 'family' channel while we discuss our favorite band.

#PinkFloyd&Co. came into existence on 3:11:51 AM GMT Sept 29, 1997 by several long time Pink Floyd IRC users.

If you are new to chat rooms, you will discover that there are many different types on the net, and they are managed differently. We work hard, and take pride in the fact that we strive to make our channel a pleasant and comfortable place for visitors....and we have been highly successful.

The following are guidelines for channel users. These are meant to keep your room a place everyone can enjoy.

Channel Policy
No discussion of drugs in channel. No harassment of Op's or visitors. No sexual, ethnic, or racial slurs/jokes. No flooding, nuking, etc. will be tolerated. No dirty language, ladies and young people are present. No lurking.....if you must be silent, set yourself 'away'. Do not ask for Op's, we have a set number of regular Op's. No child porn channels will be associated with channel...they're illegal.

In our channel, you will notice that X and Hey You` are always there. These two helpful critters are not really people, but are software programs. Basically they are here to keep order in the channel. If at times you find responses to your questions slow in coming, please realize that there may be net lag occuring, or, folks may be away from their keyboards for a moment, you are 'not' being ignored.
