#PinkFloyd&Co. has held several contests!


The first one was to name the channels Bot. The winner was Fingel` who chose (among many many others) the nick of HeyYou`. His prize was a hardback copy of Storm Thorgerson's new book "Mind Over Matter The Images Of Pink Floyd"



A month before Christmas time, a second contest was held to pick a logo for a channel T-shirt. The winning design was chosen by anyone who desired to vote.
The winner was Sandy` who submitted this design.



On the celebration of our 6 month anniversary, we had a scavenger hunt. Ten questions were asked and one hour given to find all of the answers here on the site.

Madcap' and Wings^ tied at six questions answered correctly. A coin-toss determined Wings^ as the winner of a very rare Russian pressing of Delicate Sound of Thunder LP set and Madcap^ came away as runner-up with a DSOTM silk wall hanging.

A random number lottery was also held that night and Twister won a copy of the David Gilmour solo album.




THE HIGH HOPES CONTEST!!

In June of 1998 we began collecting entries for our fourth contest. There were two categories, one in written form and one in art/graphic form. The theme was Pink Floyd and you had to express in either form what Pink Floyd meant to you. We had many entries and a lot of fun. In July everyone voted on their favorites. The winner of the Art/Graphic form was Eric "Melassen", who won a copy of Storm Thorgerson's new book "Mind Over Matter The Images Of Pink Floyd" and the winner of the written form was Dan "Madcap", who won a copy of the screen play "The Wall" by Roger Waters. The winning entries are:

#PinkFloyd&Co. Anniversary Contest!

On October 3, 1998 we held a party and contest to celebrate #PinkFloyd&Co. first anniversary on IRC UNDERNET. The theme of the evenings festivities was Pink Floyd lyrics. We had a wonderful time participating in the games and chatting with Pink Floyd Fans from around the world.

The winners were for the main contest of the evening:

On March 13th, 1999 the Channel Homepage 1 year Anniversary was celebrated with a Dark Side of The Moon listen. We had a scavenger hunt and prizes were awarded to the winners.

#PinkFloyd&Co. Channel 3rd Anniversary on IRC Undernet Contest!

On September 29, 2000 we celebrated the channel's 3rd birthday with old and new friends and had a scavenger hunt with prizes awarded to the winners.
