I remember a day.....

I remember a day many years back
Though some may not remember it much
It was one of those days where things went wrong
But the fearless workers went on a did such
If only the clouds were swept away
And if the time were enough
We could have caught an eclipse
Instead we were marooned on a rough
Yes, I remember the day it began to float up
And began it's great gig in the sky
Magnificent in sight and inspiring in concept
We remained perplexed as it was learning to fly
The chances were one in a million
But it happened here at Battersea
The rope just happened to break
And we watched the pig go free
