In 1970, Pink Floyd recorded much of the soundtrack for the movie Zabriskie Point.		Zabriskie Point lies on the South Eastern edge of Death Valley, one of the hottest places on earth.
	Sunrise over Zabriskie Point.		The badlands at Zabriskie Point Overlook is comprised of sedimentary layers made up of veins of gypsum and dirt. This is very fragile and crumbles easily - giving name to the song ‘Crumbling Land’.
	Caught up in the excitement of the moment, HeyYou` never made it into this photo and remained hidden in the back pocket of this person's jeans. Turnabout is fair play, and HeyYou will now forever cover the face of this unnamed person.		Although it may not look it, Death Valley is a very beautiful place. Granted, this shot is rather stark, but the valley below was teeming with wildflowers on this day.
	Zabriskie Point overlooks Furnace Creek - a place where the air temperature once set a world record of 134 F. The hottest ground temperature here has been 201 F.		The lowest spot in the Western Hemisphere - 282 feet below sea level - is about seven miles from Zabriskie Point.
